Need a cool place to throw your wedding reception? How about Bob Dylan’s mansion in the Highlands of Scotland? The Strathspey & Badenoch Herald reports that Dylan’s Aultmore House in Nethy Bridge, Scotland can be rented for parties and wedding receptions for about $3,000 (£2k).
The Edwardian mansion, which was purchased in 2006 by Dylan and his brother David Zimmeran, features views of the Cairngorms mountain range, 10 bedrooms, 2 separate cottages (also available to rent for around £400) and is set on 25 acres. We’re sounding like Robin Leach now.
If you’re planning on spotting Dylan, the odds are against you. The poet laureate of rock has reportedly spent very little time there, but keep in mind, the guy’s pretty busy on a “never ending tour” and tending to his porta-potty problem back in Malibu.
You don’t have to get married at Maggie’s Farm no more. For pictures of Dylan’s former Scottish bachelor pad, click here.
