In less than 24 hours, this underappreciated indie-folk group founded by Mat Brooke and Jenn Ghetto in the mid-90s will play a reunion show in Seattle — their first gig as Carissa’s Wierd since breaking up back in ‘03. (No word yet if former member and current Band of Horses leader Ben Bridwell will be joining them, but hey… his schedule is clear.) The event celebrates the release of 16-track retrospective comp They’ll Only Miss You When You Leave: Songs 1996-2003 next week.
