U2’s The Edge told Mojo they scrapped tracks they recorded with Rick Rubin for their next album and opted to start over with “Brian and Danny.” Eno and Lanois that is.
On Rubin, The Edge said, “He gave us great advice as much as anything. His whole thing is, ‘Don’t go near the studio until you know exactly what you want to do,’ which, of course, is the opposite of how we usually work.”
The album, tentatively titled No Line On The Horizon, is currently due in February 2009.
