Will Oldham, Emmett Kelly (aka the Cairo Gang), and Angel Olsen completed a string of free shows in Florida record stores this week, unveiling a number of new tunes said to be off a forthcoming Bonnie “Prince” Billy LP. A few previews of the latest material from Bonnie and friends have hit the web, but let’s here’s one choice cut from Fort Lauderdale’s Radio-Active Records, where Oldham (sans beard!) reflects on turning 41 before debuting an excellent new song inspired by Merle Haggard.
