I was enjoying Wilco’s live webcast from Boston, MA tonight when, out of the blue, Jeff Tweedy unveiled a huge scoop to the masses: Wilco will host their very own festival this summer.
Dubbed the Solid Sound Festival, Wilco’s three-day fest will take place outdoors at Massachusetts’ MoCa (MA Museum of Contemporary Art) on August 13-15 in North Adams. In addition to performances by Wilco, Autumn Defense, On Fillmore, Pronto, and the Nels Cline Singers, MASS MoCA says:
Festival goers will be able to participate in an interactive guitar pedal exhibit with Wilco guitarist Nels Cline, a concert-poster silk screening demonstration, and a drum/percussion workshop by Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche.
