Third Man Records posted a teaser trailer late last month for Jack White’s next music video directorial effort, but today the real thing finally arrived. Carefully arranged vintage instruments, an RCA ribbon microphone, and monochromatic black and white lighting give this video all the Jack White flair we’ve come to expect.
The most interesting bit, however, is the song itself: The Black Belles’ “What Can I Do?” sounds like it could’ve been a White Stripes song, IMO, complete with a drumbeat that is uncannily similar to Meg White’s trademark garage stomp. Check it out here or above.
