Weeds star, “Butterfly In Reverse” muse, and Tony Award winning actress/columnist for Esquire Mary-Louise Parker will join her friend Adam Duritz’s ol’ pal Ryan Adams for a live chat at the New York Public Library on Sept. 25th.
Adams, who is visiting his old NYC haunt to launch an exhibition as Morrison Hotel’s first artist in residence (see Adams’ paintings here), will discuss “poetry and fiction, and his most recent book HelloSunshine” with Parker for an admission fee of $25 (seniors, library donors, and students get in for $15).
A couple Internet peeps are struggling to find the Adams/Parker connection, but aside from the evidence of Ryan’s co-writing the above Counting Crows homage to the Nancy Botwin actor we’ve already presented, let’s not question the Whiskeytown fandom of a mother that “force-fed” her son “classic rock, alt-country, Bach, and Motown from the moment his face hit air.”
