PJ Harvey finally revealed the title, release date, tracklist, and other info on her next studio album this morning, less than a week after posting a few cryptic messages about an incoming announcement. On February 14, Island Records will release Harvey’s eighth studio album, Let England Shake, taking its name from the song of the same name she previewed earlier this year.
Let England Shake was recorded in a 19th century church in Dorset, England with Flood, who co-produced the album with Mick Harvey, John Parish, and Harvey herself. As was previously announced, Parish, Mick Harvey, and drummer Jean-Marc Butty will join Harvey for a string of dates in the U.K. in February, immediately following the album’s release.
