Interpol are celebrating the decade since Turn On the Bright Lights first put the great NYC indie-rock band on the map by releasing a Tenth Anniversary Reissue Edition of the 2002 set on November 20th on Matador. In addition to a remastered version of the original 12-track album, bonus LPs, CDs, and DVDs include music videos and previously unreleased material from the era, as well as an accompanying photo book.
Specifically, 4 cuts from Interpol’s 2001 live session on the late, great John Peel’s radio show, nearly a dozen demos recorded in the run-up to their debut LP’s release, an iTunes single, and a track off their self-titled introductory EP are among the 17-track batch due later this fall.
Suffice to say, this record has held up incredibly well over the past 10 years, and this is a fine way to revisit such an important moment. Without further ado, preview the tracklist for the bonus tunes below and pre-order various packages over on their site.
