An LP of new material isn’t on the horizon for newly-reunited Britpop greats Pulp, but — not unlike Blur has done of late with one-off singles — the band do have a fresh recording to share. “After You” was written 12 years ago, before being put to tape in rough demo form and never seeing the light of day as an official release. As a Christmas gift to fans this week (originally available as a download here), Pulp unveiled a new, re-worked take on the cut, polished up with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy producing. So, without further ado, hear what they put to tape back in November and completed this month with Murphy above.
