Today, Mumford & Sons announced news of a forthcoming live film documenting the band’s pair of headlining concerts in Morrison, Colorado at the city’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre earlier this year. Accompanied by footage shot from Mumford & Sons’ 2012 “Gentlemen of the Road” tour and interviews, a 12-track live set was filmed for the DVD/Blu-ray release due in January in the U.S. and later this winter in other parts of the world. Road to Red Rocks features a healthy mix of cuts equally culled from both the group’s LPs thus far — a fair representation of recent setlists in support of their debut, Sigh No More, and this year’s Babel.
We’ll have to wait a bit for the film to arrive in full, but in the meantime, preview the trailer above and (given its setlist similarity) revisit their 9-song Letterman performance from September here.
