Mumford & Sons brought a pair of tunes off their sophomore album, Babel, to New York’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza tonight for their debut performance on the long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live. While both songs — “Below My Feet” and “I Will Wait” — included a number of rousing moments we’ve come to expect from the British quartet, the latter take was bolstered further by a 3-piece horn section. Perhaps a bus of previously converted fans were in SNL‘s crowd tonight, but if the live audience’s reaction can be trusted, Marcus and co. just earned a host of new recruits to Mumfordmania moments ago.
