We just shared our new interview with producer Ethan Johns over the weekend, and now comes news about the latest project from his father, Rolling Stones/The Who/Eagles producer Glyn Johns: Band of Horses’ fourth album is due out later this year, complete with the legendary studio man at the boards and a new song they debuted for an acoustic set at Lollapalooza Brazil last week.
Incorrectly dubbed “Long Vows” (the cut is actually untitled as of yet), an attendee caught some decent footage of the tune’s unveiling shown below:
Can’t wait to hear what Ben Bridwell, Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe, Bill Reynolds, and Tyler Ramsey were able to capture with a man that’s been behind so many classic records. In fact, there’s been something of a resurgence of output from Johns of late — most notably around here, last year’s Ryan Adams LP, Ashes & Fire. Per reps for BoH, that’s all the info we have for now, but we’ll keep you updated when more details arrive.
