Ahead of Third Man Records’ release of her next 7-inch single off The Ghost Who Walks, “The Truth Is In The Dirt,” Karen Elson performed the title track off her record tonight on the Late Show with David Letterman, proving (once again) that Jack White’s production was simply icing on the cake of this fabulous debut LP. Singing alongside Meg White’s husband, Jackson Smith (son of Patti and MC5’s Fred “Sonic” Smith, no less), Elson stole the show with her 1912 Gibson acoustic in tow.
