Apparently, David Bowie and Bing Crosby’s 1977 medley of “Little Drummer Boy”/”Peace On Earth” is making a comeback — in the comedy world at least. Last week brought Jack Black and Jason Segel’s animated take on the classic, perennially odd duet, and now their pals Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly have filmed their version: a more faithful take, complete with Ferrell’s subtle yet lulzy Bowie impression. These clips have left me wanting a modern-day equivalent to the original, starring… hmm… Neil Diamond and Thom Yorke perhaps?
