Following years of unconfirmed reports and publishing house limbo, Morrissey’s long-awaited memoir is officially due October 17th in the United Kingdom and Europe. In an interesting twist, Moz’s 2011 boast that the then 660-page draft should be on the shelf among Penguin Classics in its first edition turned out to be true: the final 480-page tome will indeed be published by the Penguin Classics imprint alongside the likes of Prometheus Bound and other literature for the ages. Check out the cover to the left.
The book, titled simply Autobiography, is up for order in the U.K./Europe here, with few pre-release details provided outside of announcing that it “covers Morrissey’s life from his birth until the present day.”
