The National have surprised us with not one but two cuts from their forthcoming Trouble Will Find Me LP this week. The video for “Demons” was a rousing start indeed, but taken in conjunction with “Don’t Swallow the Cap,” anticipation for a cohesive LP6 should be running high about now. Still no auditory word on those guest spots from St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, and Sharon Van Etten — perhaps we’ll have to wait until May 20th. A fine way to bide the time is above and below.
