Laura Marling just shared this menacing new cut from her fourth album, Once I Was An Eagle, on BBC Radio, and now the official stream is here. Our first preview from the record, “Where Can I Go?,” picked up where hushed-turned-rousing folk left off on songs like “Sophia” from A Creature I Don’t Know, while “Master Hunter” feels drawn from a similar vein as “The Beast.” This time, though, a defiant guitar riff and insistent, rhythmically-interwoven percussion drive what’s perhaps the heaviest track in her catalog so far.
