Seattle band Pickwick just announced their debut album, Can’t Talk Medicine, arriving on March 12th. Available today, though, is a 3-track covers EP and first taste of the full-length in the form of their take on Richard Swift’s “Lady Luck” appearing on both new releases. For a little help channeling Swift’s original falsetto lead vocal, Galen Disston and Co. brought their friend Sharon Van Etten in to harmonize over the track’s soulful groove. Between its positive vibe and the lovely way these voices meld on the faithful take, Swift should be honored at the nod to his 2008 EP Ground Trouble Jaw.
