The new Chan Marshall-directed video for Cat Power single “Cherokee” arrived today, in which the leather getup, dog sidekick, and a few other apocalyptic images are borrowed from Mad Max. It’s a bit more supernatural than that 1979 flick, though, complete with zombies repelled by a toy raygun and some healing crystals unearthed in the bleak desert scene.
