Most artists making a promo stop on late-night TV rehash a single to boost sales, but not Lykke Li. Then again, introductory cuts abound on her filler-free new record, Wounded Rhymes. Tonight, she brought closing track “Silent My Song” to the Ed Sullivan Theater, enlisting tourmates/fellow Swedes First Aid Kit to sing backup for a resonant take. Enjoy the clip above (chilling moments of note: jab-dance moves during “No fist is needed when you pull” at 1:12 and some fierce camera/eye contact in the a capella comedown at 3:35).
