Back in May, the Cure reunited with keyboardist Roger O’Donnell at Australia’s Sydney Opera House for an epic 4-hour live performance of their first three albums — Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, and Faith — in their entirety. While a film release of that event is said to be in the works, word comes today that the Cure’s September headlining festival set (also with O’Donnell) will arrive as a double album next month. Titled Bestival Live 2011, all profits from the release will be donated to The Isle of Wight Youth Trust. Check out the 32-song tracklist here, which includes classics “Play for Today” and “A Forest,” shown in the pro-shot clip above from an official broadcast.
