Aside from this year’s archival re-imagination record, Director’s Cut, Kate Bush hasn’t put out a proper LP since 2005’s Aerial, but now the wait for new tunes is nearly over: 50 Words For Snow — a 7-track, hour-long album of fresh material — will arrive on November 21st via Bush’s EMI imprint, Fish People.
Aside from song titles and the album cover above, further details are scarce at the moment (all she would reveal today, ambiguously, is that the tracks are “set against a background of falling snow”), but the fact that the record was put to tape during analog-based Director’s Cut sessions should provide a hint of what’s to come.
