When we first introduced Amanda Bergman earlier this summer, copies of her self-titled debut EP as Idiot Wind were hard to come by, not to mention authorized video clips or an official website. All that’s changed, though, as the Tallest Man on Earth’s new film score and duet partner now has her own page — complete with a full stream of the EP, bonus tracks, and a link to purchase the record. We also have a Johan Stolpe-created video, featuring performances of unreleased track “Try To Bend A River” and a cover of “Big Red Sun Blues,” off Lucinda Williams’ eponymous 1988 debut, backed by electric piano in an open field. Check out the clip (you can’t really see her sing until the Williams take at the 3:30 mark) above. Idiot Wind has, by far, one of the best new voices of 2011.
