Last October, a group of Scottish musicians gathered for a pair of concerts in Glasgow and Edinburgh at the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. In addition to performing live, members of Frightened Rabbit, the Twilight Sad, Idlewild, the Delgados, and others collaborated on an original studio album, which was sold at the event. Today, calling themselves the Fruit Tree Foundation, the group announced the wide release of their album, First Edition, in association with the Mental Health Foundation, A Scottish Wave of Change, and Breathing Space, on June 28 via Chemikal Underground Records.
