As David Lynch would say, “Good Day Today”: Now that we’ve revealed where everybody in Austin should be on Thursday during the week of SXSW, here’s a little (read: huge) event for the weekend…
Our friends at Antiquiet, Consequence of Sound, Rock it Out Blog!, and Some Kind of Awesome have formed some kind of a blog Voltron (note the rad poster by Skwerl above) with TwentyFourBit and the awesome folks at Knuckle Rumbler for a free unofficial day party on Saturday, March 19. And speaking of Jack White’s bands, two Raconteurs are among the amazing lineup, performing alongside Craig Fox in the newly reformed Greenhornes.
Here’s the lineup for The Rumbler Lounge at 402 E. 6th Street: The Greenhornes, A Place To Bury Strangers, P.O.S. & Astronautalis, The Gay Blades, Hollerado, Jukebox The Ghost, The Silent Comedy, Dirty Ghosts, Fences, Le Butcherettes, Sabrosa Purr, Ezra Furman & The Harpoons, God-Des & She.
More details to come, but if you’re “ready for action” you will want to RSVP ASAP.
