Earlier this fall, Björk wrote a letter in verse and covered the song “Gloomy Sunday” at a memorial service in tribute to her late friend and former collaborator Lee Alexander McQueen, who tragically committed suicide in February at only 40 years old. “I can’t stop thinking how both fierce and feeble you are,” she said in “Dear Lee,” before thanking her former creative partner for inspiration, describing their work together as “a real mashup of fertile minds.” Now Björk has paid tribute to McQueen by composing the stunning soundtrack to director Nick Knight’s new short film “To Lee, With Love, Nick.” Watch it here or above.
