As anyone who’s seen a Jack Black or Jason Segel movie could tell you, they both possess some considerable musical chops in addition to their known comedic abilities (not to mention Black’s work in Tenacious D and Segel’s latest original composition). And now — while promoting their upcoming film adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels — the pair have teamed up for an updated take on David Bowie and Bing Crosby’s 1977 medley of “Little Drummer Boy”/”Peace On Earth” for the holidays, as well. “I’m singing David Bowie’s melody, but he is playing David Bowie, the youngster coming over to the old school guy’s house,” Black told Spinner, adding later that Segel “looks like Bowie, but he sounds like Bing and me the vice versa.” Check out their fun clip above.
