Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton and Daniele Luppi stopped by NPR today to discuss their forthcoming album, Rome, a collaborative effort inspired by 1960s spaghetti western soundtracks featuring Norah Jones and Jack White on vocals, as well as backup musicians who played on recordings from films like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West.
Curious to hear a preview of what a Danger Mouse-Jack White collab might sound like? Some Kind of Awesome posted the above song snippets teased on the broadcast, and things are sounding very promising (especially at 2:05).
