Kings of Leon’s latest single might be one of the weaker cuts on their new album… when they play it, but hand it over to one Cee-Lo Green and here’s a jam I can fully get behind. While the Followill boys honorably reached for the heavens before falling a bit short of the pearly gates, Cee-Lo’s stripped-down take — backed by acoustic guitar, piano, and sparse percussion — more effectively fulfills the song’s inspirational promise.
