We’ve known that the Greenhornes are staging a comeback ever since bassist Jack Lawrence unveiled news this spring that he, drummer Patrick Keeler, and frontman Craig Fox have their first record in 5 years in the can. And finally some concrete details about the trio’s return have made a blip on the radar. Per Keeler himself (on Facebook), the band will play 7 dates leading up to the October release of their 5th album. According to a recent interview with Lawrence, the as-yet-untitled LP will be released via Dead Weather/Raconteurs bandmate Jack White’s Third Man Records.
Among the Greenhornes’ upcoming shows are appearances at the Scion Garage Fest in Lawrence, KS, Jim Jarmusch’s curated All Tomorrow’s Parties stage in Monticello, NY, and their first gig in a half-decade in Cincinnati, just over a week from today. Check out their tour itinerary (so far) below:
