Sarah Blasko’s Björn Yttling-produced third album, As Day Follows Night, was released in her native Australia last summer, but is only now (Aug. 10) available in the U.S. In addition to the 12-track LP, Blasko recorded a bonus EP of songs either made famous by or composed specifically for 5 films: The Sound Of Music, Xanadu, Fame, Cabaret, and Annie Hall.
The latter track, “Seems Like Old Times,” which was performed by Diane Keaton in Woody Allen’s classic 1977 romantic dramedy, is now available as a free stream. In addition to that cover, Blasko’s reps announced the unveiling of her Celeste Potter-directed video for “No Turning Back.” The animated clip is by no means new — as it was first uploaded prior to the Australian release last June — but it’s a stunning tune and beautiful video regardless, so let’s enjoy her original song and cover below:
