We mentioned the former Led Zeppelin frontman’s next solo album back in February, but only now, 4 months later, has Robert Plant officially spilled the beans about his follow-up to the Grammy-sweeping LP, Raising Sand: According to his official site last week, Plant’s forthcoming 12-track effort, Band of Joy, will drop on September 13, via (Paul McCartney’s new label) Rounder Records.
Included in the tracklist are “Harms Swift Way,” one of the last songs ever written by Townes Van Zandt, traditional folk tune “Cindy, I’ll Marry You One Day,” “Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down” (once tracked by Uncle Tupelo), and 9 others others.
