Zane Lowe premiered Arcade Fire’s new double A-side, “The Suburbs”/”Month of May,” on BBC Radio 1 today, followed by the inevitable Internet leak. (I love how both the Dead Weather and Arcade Fire opted to drop new material lately via a vinyl record streamed to the Web.)
Upon a few listens so far, we, like Lowe, are speechless with regard to the beauty of both these songs. We’ll need to spend more time with these tunes to be sure, but right now it sure feels like Win Butler and friends have done it again, kids.
