A remastered, deluxe reissue and box set of Exile on Main Street, the Rolling Stones’ legendary 1972 double album, will be released next month, packed with a host of bonus tracks, Cocksucker Blues DVD, and four recordings from the sessions that have yet to reach the public’s ears. One of said never-before-heard tracks, “Plundered My Soul,” hit shelves over the weekend as a Record Store Day single, and is now available to stream via director Jonas Odell’s cover art collage-inspired official music video or below.
Other new Exile-era Stones tunes on the way include “Dancing in the Light,” “Following the River,” and “Pass the Wine.”
In related news, Jimmy Fallon is plotting a week-long celebration of the Exile reissue on his Late Night program for the week of May 10, featuring a different band performing a cover from the record each night. The first band to be announced? Phish.
