[Insert obligatory “Southern Man”/”Sweet Home Alabama” joke here.] A string of dates for Neil Young and Bert Jansch’s Twisted Road tour have been leaked to the press, and though I’m thrilled for those lucky fans living in Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, here’s hoping this incredible double bill makes its way to other parts of the U.S. as well. The Louisville Courier broke the news on Monday, which was subsequently picked up by Rolling Stone, that Young and Jansch will launch their theater tour in May, with ticket prices ranging from $85 to $245.
Pretty expensive, I’d say, but its hard to put a price on seeing two living legends share the stage at the equally-legendary Ryman Auditorium, for example. We’ll cross our fingers for more dates, but here’s the schedule in the meantime [updated]:
