Crowded House ended a decade-plus hiatus with 2007’s Time on Earth, their first album since 1993’s Together Alone, but it looks like there’s plenty more magic left over between Neil Finn and friends, as they have another new record in the can, just three years later. On an as-yet-unspecified date in June, Crowded House will drop Intriguer, their sixth full-length album, via their new record label, Universal.
The record was produced by Finn and Jim Scott, who in addition to collaborating on three Wilco albums, co-produced last year’s rock star-studded 7 Worlds Collide double-disc, which featured Wilco, Johnny Marr, Phil Selway and Ed O’Brien of Radiohead, Neil and Liam Finn, Lisa Germano, and others.
