The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have been keeping busy with side projects for so long that I didn’t even realize it’s been 2 years since the release of their Danger Mouse-produced, Marc Ribot-featuring album, Attack & Release. On May 18, however, the drought is over.
Though the song “Tighten Up” was once again produced by Danger Mouse, the majority of the Keys’ forthcoming 15-track album, Brothers, was produced by Auerbach and Carney themselves at Alabama’s famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studio.
A few summer and spring tour dates aside, that’s all we know right now about the Akron, Ohio-based duo’s upcoming plans. In the meantime, though, check out the full tracklist to Brothers below:
