Only 24 hours after being announced as part of Bonnaroo’s epic 2010 lineup, Regina Spektor stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for an inspired rendition of “Machine” from her latest album, Far.
This performance was a relief, to be honest, as her recent live collaboration with Joshua Bell on PBS left me wanting to never hear a violin interrupt one of our favorite singer/songwriters of late again. (Seriously, Bell! *shakes fist*) Well, not only does Spektor have us back on the edge of our seats, but the violin arrangement here has endeared me a bit more to the instrument (still agree with Sarah Vowell, though. Sorry!).
