When the Foo Fighters recently announced an upcoming greatest hits album, after 15 years together, Gary Lightbody and the Snow Patrol gang must’ve thought, “Hey, we’ve been together that long too!” And there’s only one way to outdo a greatest hits album: a greatest hits double album.
On Nov. 9, Digital Spy reports Snow Patrol will release Up To Now, a 30-song collection of singles, rarities, covers, and three new songs, which will require two whole compact discs to contain.
Between this and the launching of their new publishing company, Polar Music, it looks like Snow Patrol are becoming quite the group of businessmen. Not to mention, given that band name, I wonder why they didn’t hop aboard this fall’s holiday album trend.
