Only one year ago, everything was looking up for rapper Young Buck: He was a member of 50 Cent’s popular group G-Unit and he was entering the fashion business with his own line of apparel, David Brown Clothing. Today’s news, however, that Young Buck’s clothing line has ceased production is the third in a line of setbacks for the rapper, beginning with being let go from G-Unit in April 2008. 50 Cent made his dismissal official in a radio interview on the air.
50 Cent recently called out Young Buck for claiming to not be wealthy, saying that all the members of G-Unit had made $10 million in their career at this point. “It’s simple, I can let you know what I’ve made,” Young Buck said, refuting the claim. “I’ll just put out my tax statements since I signed with G-Unit… I haven’t received 10 million dollars, or jacked off 10 million dollars. I’ve never paid a million dollars in taxes.”
