As we reported 3 weeks ago, Bob Dylan recorded a surprise new album after originally being asked to record songs for a film soundtrack. We now have a lot more details about the mysterious project that is only a little more than a month away.
First, here’s song titles for 7 out of the 10 tracks (via RS): “I Feel a Change Coming On,” “Life Is Hard,” “Beyond Here Lies Nothin’,” “If You Ever Go to Houston” and “This Dream of You,” “My Wife’s Home Town,” and “It’s All Good.”
David Frick says the follow-up to Modern Times has “a seductive border-cafe feel,” due in part because Los Lobos’ David Hidalgo plays accordion on most of the tracks. The title is currently unknown for the album, produced by Jack Frost (Dylan’s pseudonym for his past 2 albums), but it will drop in late April.
