When legendary rapper Tupac was in prison in 1995, he penned a screenplay titled Live 2 Tell over the course of his 11-month sentence. Allhiphop reports the rights to the screenplay were purchased from Tupac’s mother and controller of his estate, Afeni Shakur, and now the film is set to go in production later this month.
The plot of Live 2 Tell surrounds a very successful and powerful drug dealer who is struggling to move on from his life in crime. Allhiphop also reports a Tupac biopic has become a lot more likely, following the huge success of Notorious, the film made about Notorious B.I.G. this year. Preston Holmes, the producer of Hustle and Flow and Tupac: Resurrection, is also set to produce Live 2 Tell.
