If someone told you Tommy Lee was stopped in a high-speed chase, you might not be shocked. What if they told you he was in a helicopter?
Lee and his pilot David Martz were forced to land their helicopter yesterday when a police helicopter spotted the pair performing reckless tricks right in front of them. TMZ reports the pilot was given a breathalyzer test after they were forced to land at the Van Nuys Airport; by the time police arrived at the airport, Lee was nowhere to be found.
Martz admitted that Lee had joined him for a celebratory alcoholic drink after the helicopter landed and submitted his breathalyzer results of .01 and .02 to TMZ. The FAA is currently looking into the situation, as the pair have been in hot water amidst helicopter shenanigans before: Two years ago they landed their chopper in a residential neighborhood on their way to a Nine Inch Nails concert.
