Rick Rubin is following up his work with Metallica by producing new music by two very different acts: Josh Groban and Clipse. EW reports that Rubin and Clipse have been working on tracks together in Malibu, with one completed song already in the can. The hugely successful producer and rap duo are only planning to collaborate on one or two more tracks for their anticipated follow-up to 2006’s smash Hell Hath No Fury.
As we previously reported, Rubin is also working on a new Josh Groban album. Rumors of the pair’s collaboration swirled when Groban and Rubin were seen attending a Neil Diamond concert in Hollywood last year. The pair is working on the follow-up to Josh Groban’s 2006 double platinum album, Awake.
