On Tuesday night, the power suddenly went out at a Nine Inch Nails concert in Sydney, Australia. In a backstage video (via Blabbermouth), you can watch the Hordern Pavilion get very tense, while the crew tries to fix the power problem and the band discuss possibly needing to escape in the event that a riot ensues. Luckily, the power was restored after a 40-minute delay and Nine Inch Nails returned to play the rest of their scheduled set.
In the video, NIN front man Trent Reznor says, “We rocked it too hard and the power went off… It sucks because we’re really here to play the show and at the end of the day it’s going to be a reflection of us. If the fans are upset, then they should be upset. This is bullsh#t.”
