Julian Lennon has spoken out on his Myspace page about Fox News’ misreporting of a reunion performance between he and his brother at a United Nations award show in NYC.
“Hi Folks, sorry to say, but the news today about Sean & I playing together at the UN Awards, came directly out of Roger Friedman’s Ass” Lennon writes. “He/They didn’t even attempt to get in touch with either of our reps or the Producers of the Un Event to find out whether this story was true or not. So you know what they represent….”
He doesn’t stop there though. In a second Myspace blog post, Lennon goes after news reports that he and his brother have had bad blood in the past, writing:
“For the Record, Sean and I do not have any disputes & have NEVER had any, no matter what the media may report. And for the record, Sean & I have already played LIVE together many years ago, I believe at ‘The Beacon Theater’ in New York. We love each other as Brothers & always will. We are Blood! FACT!”
Note: We attempted to contact reps for Sean Lennon to confirm the story yesterday, but didn’t hear back before reporting on Fox’s article. We’re going to steer clear of Fox News from here on out.
