Celebrating his night off from the Brewster, Massachusetts Police Department, Officer Joseph Houston, 29, allegedly went on a bender at a Metallica concert in Boston and is accused of urinated on a fellow fan.
Houston was promptly thrown out of the concert by security following the alleged public urination, while attempting the “But I’m a cop!” routine. Cape Cod Times reports that while Houston was being arrested by Boston Transit Police he “flashed his badge in an attempt to get back into the concert” and then “called a black MBTA officer ‘Obama.’”
So what’s the punishment for publicly urinating and spouting racist comments while resisting arrest?
“Brewster Police Chief Richard Koch would not confirm the officer’s identity but did confirm the incident happened,” Cape Cod Times reports. “He got word that Sunday night that an officer had been arrested, went to Boston the next day, on Monday, and immediately placed the officer on [paid administrative] leave.”
The only formal charge that has been brought against Houston was for trespassing, but the Boston D.A.’s office says the victim of the Metallica concert “golden shower” can file charges if they wish.
