It’s been a few years since we caught a glimpse at new Modest Material, with no word yet on whether previous live previews “Lampshades on Fire” and “Poison” will make the cut for their next record. This weekend, however, brought a promising sign the LP (perhaps featuring Big Boi) might be imminent, as Isaac Brock & Co. shared another new tune at Coachella. Complete with a violin part, barking mad vocals, and a healthy dose of guitar freakouts, “Be Brave” finds the potential follow-up to 2007’s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank in fine, vintage MM form.
